Woodcraft Manor

2111 Park Grove Avenue, Los Angeles

211 Park Grove Avenue

SORRY, WOODCRAFT MANOR HAS BEEN RENTED FOR 2010-2011

This sprawling, nine-bedroom house boasts four tiled bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen (with four refrigerators), and a large, gated parking lot with individual spaces for every student.

There's hi-speed, wireless internet service, a USC-style bicycle rack, and a coin-operated washer and dryer. Parking, gardening and weekly housekeeping are free; students pay for utilities.

Woodcraft Manor is six blocks north of campus and half a block from USC’s free tram on 23rd Street. The area is served by USC's Department of Public Safety.

The house is the work of architect John C. Austin, who in 1887 designed USC's first "permanent" structure, Old College (demolished in 1948). He went on to design Hollywood’s famed Griffith Planetarium, and to co-design Los Angeles’ City Hall and the Shrine Auditorium.

Today, Woodcraft Manor is a contributing structure to the University Park Historic Preservation Overlay Zone. For an appointment to view, please call Jim Robinson at (213) 663-3022.
