How to get to Montgomery House
1010 W.  21st Street

From the west:

1. Take the Santa Monica (10) Freeway eastbound.
2. Exit at Hoover Street and turn right at the bottom of the exit ramp.
3. Turn left at the first traffic light, at 23rd Street, and proceed east one very short block.
4. Turn left at the first traffic light, at Union Street, and proceed north two blocks, crossing 22nd Street.
5. Turn right at 21st St. and proceed east about two-thirds of a block to 1010 W. 21st St. The house will be on your right side.

 From the east:

1. Take the Santa Monica (10) Freeway westbound.
2. Take the Hoover Street exit and turn right at the bottom of the exit ramp, onto 20th Street.
3. Proceed east on 20th Street to the first traffic light, at Hoover Street.
4. Turn right and proceed south on Hoover Street, passing under the freeway.
5. Turn left at the first traffic light, at 23rd Street, and proceed east one very short block.
6. Turn left at the first traffic light, at Union Street, and proceed north two blocks, crossing 22nd Street.
7. Turn right at 21st St. and proceed east about two-thirds of a block to 1010 W. 21st St. (The house will be on your right.)

From the north:

1. Take the Harbor (110) Freeway southbound (direction: San Pedro).
2. Take the Adams Boulevard exit. (You will need to merge through traffic on your right in making this exit.)
3. At the bottom of the exit ramp, before you reach Adams Boulevard, turn right at the traffic light onto 23rd Street.
4. Proceed west on 23rd Street, passing Estrella Avenue, Bonsallo Avenue, Park Grove Avenue and Norwood Street, all on your right, and St. James Place and Scarff Street on your left.
5. Turn right at the first traffic light, at Oak Street, and proceed one block north.
6. Turn left at 21st Street and proceed west two blocks, passing Portland Street, to Toberman Street,
7. Turn right onto Toberman Street, then immediately left to continue west along 21st Street.
8. Proceed about a third of a block to 1010 W. 21st St. (The house will be on your left.)  

From the south:

1. Take the Harbor (110) Freeway northbound.
2. Take the Adams Boulevard exit.
3. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left at the first traffic lights, at Adams Boulevard. Be careful making your turn, as two of the four lights control the diamond lanes and two control the regular traffic lanes. Make sure you’re obeying the correct pair of lights.
4. Proceed west on Adams Boulevard, crossing  Flower and Figueroa streets, and then passing St. James Place and Scarff Street on your right.
5. Turn right at Portland Street and proceed north one long block to 23rd Street.
6. Cross 23rd Street. Portland jogs slightly to the right at this intersection. Proceed north one more block on Portland Street. (There is no 22nd Street off Portland.)
7. Turn left at 21st Street and proceed one block west to Toberman Street,
8. Turn right onto Toberman Street, then immediately left to continue west along 21st Street.
9. Proceed west about a third of a block to 1010 W. 21st St. (The house will be on your left.) 

From the USC campus:

1. Go north on Figueroa Street.
2. Cross Adams Boulevard.
3. Turn left at the traffic lights at 23rd Street and proceed west, passing Estrella Avenue, Bonsallo Avenue, Park Grove Avenue and Norwood Street, all on your right, and St. James Place and Scarff Street on your left.
4. Turn right at the first traffic light, at Oak Street, and proceed one block north to 21st Street.

1. Go north on Vermont Avenue to Adams Boulevard.
2. Turn right onto Adams Boulevard (traffic light) and proceed east to Hoover Street.
3. Turn left at Hoover Street (traffic light) and proceed north to 23rd Street.
4. Turn right at 23rd Street (traffic light) and proceed east one short block to Union Street
5. Turn left at Union Street (traffic light) and proceed north two blocks, crossing 22nd Street.
6. Turn right at 21st St. and proceed east about two-thirds of a block to 1010 W. 21st St. (The house will be on your right.)
